Dallas 911 operator won’t help murder suspect surrender
Cristobal Jaimes, whose family's house was severely damaged by a SWAT team raid despite him not being there, had to deal with more police malfeasance when he called 911 to turn himself in. Seems the first operator who he talked to told him she couldn't help him get to jail and to find his own way there. Perhaps realizing that wasn't the correct response, Jaimes called back a few minutes later and got another operator who promptly sent out a police car to pick him up.
I guess we can be thankful that she wasn't like other North Texas dispatchers and suggest more shooting.
