Possible pot farm found at Dallas’ Wilmer-Hutchins High School
The shuttered Wilmer-Hutchins High School, which the Dallas ISD is planning to turn into a new magnet school, was found to to be home to a suspected marijuana farm Monday night. DISD police found about 240 pots in a vacant classroom, with some of those pots sprouting suspicious plants which will be tested to see if they're actually weed.
Again, excuse me for being cynical, but local police don't exactly have a strong track record for recognizing things when they see them (or taste them). I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out this "vacant" classroom used to be a science room or something and the pots were just left over from experiments.

I wonder if they'll be doing more "field tests".

Exactly, shouldn't a peace officer be able to recognize drugs when they see them? Especially weed. I wonder how much money they waste "testing" plants.

hahah yeah 240 pots with sprouts are from classroom experiements. right.
They probably have to be tested so that they will hold up in a court of law.
