Despite whopping fuel costs, DART plans to keep fares fair (for now)

In case you were wondering, gasoline costs a lot of money lately.

However, despite rising fuel costs, it seems DART (operating 560 buses and 85 light rail cars each weekday) will not be raising its fairs, at least for now.

Currently a single bus trip as well as light rail trip cost $1.50, and DART has seen record number riders lately.
