KELLER GoVision, the Keller-based provider of larger-than-life LED video walls and mobile units, unveiled the world‘s largest mobile video screen this weekend at the Fair St. Louis 4th of July festival in St. Louis, MO. The truck-mounted super screen boasted a massive 19' x 33' widescreen configuration, while also featuring spectacular High-Definition resolution.
Viewings of Shark Week on the enormous screen reportedly resulted in three heart attacks and two dozen changes of pants
GoBigger sets a new standard in the mobile video industry," said Chris Curtis, CEO of GoVision. "By rolling out the first mobile, true High-Definition LED screen, GoVision is making this popular technology available to all rental markets for the first time. We‘re combining sheer size with high resolution and superior pixel count to produce the highest-quality experience available in the outdoor LED marketplace."
The GoBigger screen was produced by South Dakota-based Daktronics, and mounted in a specially equipped 18-wheel tractor-trailer by Craftsmen Industries of St. Charles, MO. GoBigger has already been booked for several major events, including Seafair 2008 in Seattle, August 1-3, and San Jose State football games beginning in September.
A private company formed in 2002, GoVision has been a prominent part of many national events, including the 55th Presidential Inauguration, the Breeders‘ Cup, Olympic Torch Relay, Dallas Cowboys halftime show, and Lance Armstrong‘s Ride for the Roses. GoVision is the screen provider of Texas Motor Speedway and Oklahoma University football games.
