Tarrant County College cuts bait on Trinity-spanning campus mid-stream
FORT WORTH After spending $100 million and buying 29 acres of riverfront property in Fort Worth Tarrant County College board members have realized they can't afford to finish their proposed downtown campus, including a pedestrian bridge connecting planned buildings on both sides of the Trinity. Finishing four buildings currently under construction would cost $93 million; renovating the Radio Shack buildings they bought in June for $238 million would cost $80 million.
