Dallas artist Tomas Bustos to be honored by fellow artists

Local Dallas artists are pleased to announce an art show "Honoring the Legacy of Master Artist, Tomas Bustos." The show will feature paintings and sculptures by Tomas as well as works from friends and the Dallas/Ft. Worth arts community.
The event will be held on July 31, 2008 from 6-9PM at the Center for Community Cooperation in Dallas Texas, proceeds from this event will be used to help to pay medical bills accumulated during Tomas’ recent quadruple bypass surgery.
Original contributions from local artists will include paintings, sculptures, pottery, etc.... Some pieces have been designed especially for this event.
Artists will determine their level of participation in the event, and will donate part of the proceeds of the sale of their art.
Items are also being accepted for a raffle. Raffle (tickets are $5.00 each with 100% of the proceeds going to the event. Tickets will be available for purchase on July 31st, 2008 from 6-8:30 P.M. Winners will be announced at 8:30 pm.
The event will also included performances from local Chilean singer Maria Cuevas. There will also be an $8 donation request at the door.
