Bedford City Council to holding hearings on creeks and new BoomerJack’s grill

During its upcoming meeting on July 22, the Bedford City Council will undertake the following.

Studies show that drinking outside makes you feel a lot better about the fact you decided to spend the day drinking liquids.

First, they'll hear a presentation from the Texas Municipal Library Director’s Association over the Bedford Public Library's "Achievement of Excellence Award for 2007."

Later, three different residents will speak to the council regarding the Hurricane Creek that flows through the Bridgetown subdivision and issues related.

And the council will hold a public hearing over an ordinance requested by Brent Tipps on behalf of BoomerJack’s Grill and Bar that would rezone a portion of property known as at The Shops At Central Park Addition ( from Heavy Commercial to Heavy Commercial/Specific Use Permit/Outdoor Seating. Basically, this means an ordinance to allow people to get their booze on. The property is generally located south of Airport Freeway and east of Central Drive.
