Frisco chapter of Women of Visionary Influence seeks nominations for Mentor of the Year
FRISCO Every year Women of Visionary Influence (WOVI) recognizes women who make a difference in the lives of other women through mentoring. The WOVI Annual Conference for Women and Mentor Recognition Luncheon, “Exceeding Expectations Together,” will take place October 17 & 18 at the Holiday Inn Select, 1655 North Central Expressway in Richardson.
One woman will be named “Mentor of the Year” during the Mentor Recognition Luncheon on Friday, October 17. WOVI needs your nominees! Nominate any woman who resides in the Texas area for this special award. Do you know a friend, coworker or leader in your community who consistently raises the bar through her mentoring?
The WOVI Mentor of the Year Award and Recognition Guidelines are:
An outstanding woman who has exhibited one or more of the following characteristics through mentoring:
• The ability to encourage and motivate women to excel in their careers, aspirations and/or abilities.
• The capacity to provide special value to women in the workforce and/or in the community.
• The power to impact measurable growth in others that influences their achievements.
