Superindendent of Arlington ISD resigns amid multiple malfeasance allegations
Some might characterize the media circus following the exploits of Hector Montenegro as a right royal dung-slinging.
Amid continued allegations of wrongdoing in relation to his position as Arlington Independent School District Superintendent, Hector Montenegro has resigned.
Montenegro was placed on paid leave last week; as a result of his resignation (announced Monday, July 21), the school board has decided to forgo looking any further into his financial dealings with non-profit agencies outside the district.
