Renovations underway on the Pyramid Restaurant & Bar at Fairmont Dallas
During construction, food service for the hotel will be available in the former Brasserie dining room adjacent to the main lobby.
DALLAS Renovations have begun on the Pyramid Grill at The Fairmont Dallas. To be unveiled in September 2008, the new Pyramid Restaurant & Bar will encompass more than 7,000 square feet, with seating for 110 (57 in the dining room and 53 in the bar), plus a private dining room with additional seating up to 64, and a Chef's Tasting Room seating 10-16, featuring Executive Chef J.W. Foster's exciting new cuisine.
The new décor, envisioned by The Puccini Group based in San Francisco, features a color palette of celadon, taupe, gold, and moss with accents of polished bronze, walnut, and mahogany against a backdrop of earth-toned wall coverings and dark mahogany flooring with deep red highlights. Textiles include warm mohair velvets and chenille in geometric patterns as well as soft natural colors for upholstered pieces.
The focal point of the new space is an organic, 8-ft teak artistic interpretation of a centuries-old, crosscut tree perched on an ornate bronze base. Soaring 30-foot tall wine cases will be fully enclosed in glass creating climate-controlled wine rooms at both ends of the new restaurant.
