Coppell Oaktober Fest event prompts call for food vendors

The "fun family event" category can cover a lot of ground
Each year Coppell hosts an outdoor fall festival known as Oaktober Fest (look under the special events header, here.) This year's fest happens on Oct. 18 from 5 - 10 p.m.
The city is putting out a call for food vendors who might be interested in setting up to sell their wares during the festival, which will feature music by the Emerald City Band in addition to a range of as-yet unspecified family activities. (Bare knuckles fisticuffs, anyone?)
According to this notice, space is limited, so if you want to put your prize cupcakes up for sale, fill out the food vendor ap at the link provided above - or call Special Events Coordinator Sherri Lewis at 972-462-5181 for further details.
