Dallas Housing Authority will stop accepting housing applications & start offering rental vouchers
DALLAS On August 11, the Dallas Housing Authority will temporarily stop accepting applications from people who want to live in city-owned housing, though the process will resume in a few months. At the same time, the DHA will start accepting applications for rental assistance vouchers. Vouchers are available only to black people who want to rent in predominantly white neighborhoods. Applications must be made online during the week of August 11-17.
