Addison-based Mattress Giant launches new product line
ADDISON Mattress Giant Corporation, the nation’s fifth largest bedding retailer, today launched Emmy award-winning journalist Cristina Saralegui’s Casa CristinaTM line of mattresses, inspired by the popular host and executive producer of “The Cristina Show." The Casa CristinaTM Mattress Collection will be available at Mattress Giant’s 360 retail stores nationwide.
Casa Cristina™ mattresses are one of fifteen product categories of Saralegui’s expanding Casa CristinaTM collection which includes furniture, lighting, home accessories, as well as bedding and bath products. The two models currently being sold at Mattress Giant, Encanto and Esencia, are both entirely hypoallergenic, with moisture absorbent and breathable 100% natural cashmere, silk and bamboo coverings. The Esencia mattress cover also contains aloe, which holds antibacterial properties for a more hygienic sleep.
The Casa Cristina™ mattress collection is manufactured by Lady Americana. Esencia and Encanto are part of their Eco-Comfort® initiative which is a green strategy that reflects their commitment to leave the smallest environmental footprint as possible.

I always wondered if Addison had anything but hotels. They have... beds for the hotels.
Ok, nevermind.

Wow, I know I'm more likely to buy a mattress if a TV spokesperson recommends it.

Jason, Addison apparently has more restaurants per capita than anywhere west of the Mississippi (so says AddisonWeb.com, anyways).
I've never even heard of The Cristina Show.

And yet they still don't have published restaurant inspection scores online. I spoke to an "Environmental Services Official" early this year who was courteous and helpful but had to create a word document of scores by hand to fulfill my request.

@ Scott: Cristina appears to be Univision's answer to Oprah.

Scott - yeah, I know. We produced there a couple of years and got all that propaganda down the throat. There are also a zillion wonderful brilliant sparkling reasons they are a "Town" not a "City."
I know enough about 'em that I don't spend a single cent within the town limits. Yep, as David found, Addison is very very special.

Oh, oops, Mike - I didn't realize they're advertising with you. (Oklahoma in concert... sigh)
Ahem - I mean what a stellar upstanding group o' folks. Love 'em, just love 'em!
(for the team, man. for the team)
