Grand Prairie birthday ends in murder

On Sunday night, friends and family gathered in Grand Prairie to celebrate the birthday of 22-year-old Christopher Lee Heck. The party (at a home in the 400 block of NW 20th Street) took a less-than-stellar turn when Heck, according to police, argued with, then shot and killed, his mother's boyfriend.
