Former Denton residents were victims in Tennessee church shooting

DENTON Linda Kraeger, 61, died after being shot Sunday at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. Kraeger had moved to Tennessee 18 months ago from Denton. Also struck was former University of North Texas professor Joe Barnhart and several members of his family, who are expected to recover. A prayer service is scheduled Wednesday at 7pm at Denton Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, where Kraeger and Barnhart were members.

Joe Barnhart is a friend. I wasn't in constant touch but I communicated with him a few times since he moved to Tennessee.
I hope he and his family make it through this.
