Milwaukee Joe’s at Inwood Village in Dallas closed on Saturday July 26
The Southlake and Bedford locations will remain open.
The Dallas branch of Milwaukee Joe's, the small ice cream chain that was launched in Bedford in 1995, closed on Saturday.
The store, which opened in 2003, was located next door to the Inwood Theater in Inwood Village at the corner of Inwood Road and Lovers Lane.
An employee at the Southlake store said that the commute back and forth from the mid-cities became too arduous, and that the store was unlikely to be replaced with another Dallas location. But both the Southlake and Bedford stores will remain open.
