Wade Bowen previewing new material in advance of CD release
The new album, his fourth and follow-up to Lost Hotel, comes out on September 30.
Country musician Wade Bowen is releasing a new song each week leading up to the release date of his new album, If We Ever Make it Home. The album, his fourth and follow-up to Lost Hotel, comes out on September 30. Last week his "people" released the title track to If We Ever... featuring vocals from Ashley Monroe, a friend of Bowen's. On Wednesday, July 30, the second song will be released, called "Turn on the Lights."
In order to listen you have to join his website, which is pretty standard, free, but they ask a ton of questions, including who my wireless carrier is and my phone number (both of which you don't have to answer). Then you have to wait for a confirmation email, but eventually, eventually, you get to stream the damn song for the week.
