Crawford set for Crawford premiere on June 8
Austinite David Modigliani, who we interviewed during the AFI Dallas Film Fest, is excited about the Crawford premiere of his feature-length documentary based upon the ups and downs of life in the town adopted by our prez (George W.). While most of the principals who figure prominently in the film have already seen it (some at SXSW, where the movie made its world premiere), this will be the first time it's actually played in Crawford.
The home-town screening will take place on June 8. Crawford will be projected onto a 50-ft. outdoor screen at the local football field. Tickets prices will be $5 for Crawfordites and $10 for outsiders (a.k.a., "furriners").
Should be interesting to see who all shows up to this one.
