In Texas, there are no run off elections for ISD trustees posts.

These races are decided by a plurality.

In Collin County, there are, however, 3 municipal run off races:

Allen: City Council, Pl 3 - Joey Herald vs. Richard Buchanan

Frisco: City Council, Pl 5 - Tim Nelson vs. Bart Crowder

McKinney: City Council (at-large) - Pete Huff vs. Sherry Tucker David

Thanks, Bill. Yes, at the time we wrote that original story we were not certain of the ISD outcome (story linked above was written day after the election).

In addition to the Collin County races other DFW area runoff elections include...

Arlington City Council - Districts 6 & 7

Balch Springs City Council - Place 4

Denton Mayor

Grapevine City Council - Place 5

Mesquite City Council - Place 2

Southlake City Council - Place 6

White Settlement Mayor
