Male gorilla at Dallas Zoo shamelessly promoting his own sex appeal
The Dallas Zoo's male, teenage gorilla, Patrick, has a couple of new friends. In a true sign of "hey wait, them monkeys is like us," Patrick has been showing off for his new female following by banging his chest, sprinting, and lifting heavy objects.
Tufani and Makena are the two female gorillas brought to the zoo in an attempt to form a "troop" with Patrick. The hope is that they'll be able to breed later on, but for now the ladies are on birth control. (No word on whether they were graduate students when they made the decision to go on the pill.) According to the DMN article, Tufani has taken notice of him, while Makena would prefer to eat than watch his barbarism. Ohh, burn.

Makena--good choice, girl. A nice bunch of bananas will never tell you you have ugly toes....

Heh, methinks <a href="http://www.pegasusnews.com/news/2008/may/28/planned-parenthood-north-texas-opens-29th-clinic-m/#c26500">this </a> is the link you were shooting for Erin (both above lead to the DMN article).
Revived yourself with "hey wait, them monkeys is like us," imo.
