DALLAS Family Law specialist Mike McCurley, a founder and name partner in the Family Law firm McCurley Orsinger McCurley Nelson & Downing, L.L.P., once again is being recognized by D Magazine as one of the city’s top attorneys in the 2008 listing of “The Best Lawyers in Dallas.”
Mr. McCurley is recognized in the publication’s June edition as one of only 15 local attorneys honored for their work in Family Law. This marks the fifth consecutive time he has earned a spot on D Magazine’s listing of the city’s top lawyers.
Final selections for “The Best Lawyers in Dallas” are made by a panel of attorneys hand-picked by the editors of D Magazine. The panel selects lawyers nominated by peers who have firsthand knowledge of the nominees’ courtroom track records. The full list is available at www.dmagazine.com.
“It is extremely gratifying to be included among the city’s top attorneys,” says Mr. McCurley. “Especially when that honor comes from other lawyers, who recognize the success our firm has had for our clients.”
Recognition is nothing new for Mr. McCurley. In both 2002 and 2007, he was named among the state’s top five Family Law attorneys in the “Go-To Guide” published by Texas Lawyer newspaper, the state’s leading independent legal publication. He also has been featured on the Texas Super Lawyers list in Texas Monthly each year since 2003. In addition, he was named among the Lawdragon “500 Leading Lawyers in America” and “The Best Lawyers in America” for 2008.
