— The Texas Rangers continued to provide their fans with plenty of offense-based entertainment Wednesday night, losing to the Cleveland Indians 15-9 at Rangers Ballpark. The loss once again drops the Rangers a game below .500, at 30-31.

Rangers starter Sidney Ponson was ineffective against the Indians lineup, lasting just four innings while allowing six runs off eight hits and three walks. Four of the runs were technically unearned, however, so Ponson remained a respectable 4-1 with a 3.88 ERA.

Ponson was far more effective than his replacement, however, as middle reliever Elizardo Ramírez stunk up the Ballpark in his first appearance as a Ranger, going two and two-thirds innings and giving up a whopping nine runs, all of them earned, and leaving the game with an astronomic 30.38 ERA. Kameron Loe finished out the remainder of the game strongly, pitching two-plus innings of scoreless relief.

Several Rangers hitters had great days. Michael Young extended his hitting streak to 20 games with a 3-for-5 performance, scoring twice and driving in two more. Ian Kinsler extended his own hitting streak to 19 games, going 2-for-5 with a triple and two runs scored.

Josh "The Great Hambino" Hamilton was unable to extend his home run streak, which ended at four games. Hamilton did collect an RBI single, and continues to have a huge lead in the major league RBI race.

Milton Bradley's hot streak continued in a big way, as Bradley went 2-for-3 with two walks, two runs and three RBI, most of which came on a two-run shot in the bottom of the third inning. Bradley now has three home runs in his last two games, and 12 overall.
