— According to Assistant City Manager Ron Patterson, Frisco city council decided Tuesday, June 3 to pay up to $500,000 to permanently move 3XGold Gymnastics from the Dr. Pepper Star Center to Frisco Center Properties, which is owned by Sinacola Commercial, by Aug. 1.

“Basically, the Déjà vu Star Arena is owned by the city, and we are expanding the facility to allow for several more projects in order to accommodate far more major events,” Patterson said. “Within the arena, we have several tenants which we have to relocate on a temporary basis, one of which is 3XGold Gymnastics.”

Patterson said that during the city’s search for a temporary location it located Frisco Center Properties, which 3XGold Gymnastics liked so much it wanted to make a permanent move.

“The city wins in that it won’t have to move 3XGold Gymnastics twice,” Patterson said.
