Spiceman’s F.M. 1410 in Dallas gets figgy

Email Print Tell us your story Comment

Black Mission Figs. Sexy sustenance from the Southern, Arizona Sands, Desert Dessert. You get 3, plump, aesthetically perfect figs @ $4 or $1.50 each. In the "Old Country", a farmer will often splice a fig of one sex from another tree and move it very near a cluster of the opposite sexed figs to induce more sweetness... so it seems that:

Even figs find themselves very sexy

in many places it doesn't perplex me

that a fig of the opposite sex

is naped near another to vex

a nectar so sweet you'll be hollerin' n' hootin' ...

no, I ain't talkin' 'bout no crummy fig newton

Black Mission Figs are in the City

Come n' get 'em, if not... it's a pity

your shoe shopping spree can wait

with these fashionable figs you I bait

'tis neither calculus nor trigonometry

it's either delicious a fig on or off a tree

(but please hurry... before it's too late)

Plan Bee

Chef Graham Dodd, aka "Honey Graham" the Graham Reaper of Bee Hives and Honey comb, has had some really nice wild plum blossom honey w/comb. However his last few attempts to extract bees in harm's way have wained, he hopes to bee waxing on the next. I have reserved a jar for you to dip your figs in. Buy some figs and honey dip free. Here is is Bee Blog, check out the B-Bee-Q Pitt Hive, a very smokey batch of honey indeed, here he is. Honey and/or Comb are in store, each batch is distinctive in taste with a different story.

The Magnetic Fields Quartet led by songwriter Stephen Merritt is resolutely "indie" so how come their music has been used in a Volvo commercial and appeared in the film Lemony Snicket? More info
