Fort Worth Fire Department takes full responsibility for the fire in Gateway Park

A fire broke out Thursday night after an Olympic exhibition softball game. The fire was started by a fireworks display after the game that, after concerns over high winds, was given the ok to precede by a Fort Worth fire marshal. The Fort Worth Fire Department takes full responsibility, however no disciplinary action will be taken since there were no injuries or property damage resulting from the fire.
