TWU Chancellor Ann Stuart
DENTON — Mention Texas Woman’s University Chancellor Ann Stuart’s name to any TWU student, and you’ll get nothing but praise. As a 2006 graduate of that great school, I can attest to that fact.
Dr. Stuart received a well-deserved 11 percent raise Thursday, along with another three-year extension of her contract. Beginning Sept. 1, she will receive $430,000 annually.
In my dealings with Dr. Stuart, what a lot of people don’t know is that she gives a large percentage of her salary back to the school in various ways.
Stuart is credited for turning around a declining enrollment to record-breaking graduating classes.
