DALLAS The Dallas Independent School District (DISD) has announced the names and schools of the valedictorians and salutatorians for the 2007-2008 school year.
Students have chosen from a number of both public and private universities throughout the country. Popular university choices within the state include Texas A&M University at College Station, Southern Methodist University, and the University of Texas at Austin. Other schools around the nation include Harvard University, Columbia University, Syracuse University, and New Mexico State University.
“I congratulate every valedictorian and salutatorian for being the top students in Dallas ISD,” said Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa. “These students are the example of the many great students that our district has.
