WaterTower Theatre is proud to announce that Greg Patterson will join the WTT staff as Director of Development.
Patterson, who has been the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Dallas Theater Center for the past year, succeeds Judy Schecter, who left in February to pursue personal interests.
“We are thrilled to have Greg join the WaterTower Theatre family,” stated Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin. “His passion for the theatre and diversity of experience will make him an exceptional Director of Development as we move forward into an exciting period of growth.”
Patterson is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Dallas Theater Center, where he has led several successful audience initiatives and led to a 25% increase in subscription sales over the past 10 months.
Prior to the Dallas Theater Center, Patterson worked as Senior Director of Marketing, Communications and Development at the Laguna Playhouse where he launched a successful $5 million capital campaign and increased earned revenue by 33%. He’s held other senior marketing and development positions at American Ballet Theater, English National Ballet, Orange County Performing Arts Center and National Ballet of Canada.
“I am tremendously excited and honored to be joining Terry, James, and the entire team at WaterTower,” said Patterson. “Since coming to Texas over a year ago, I was immediately impressed by Terry’s strong artistic leadership. I am excited by the opportunity to work with the staff, the board and volunteers to identify and explore new funding sources while continuing to cultivate the theatre’s many existing donors. As the theatre-going community in the cities of Addison and Dallas continue to flourish, I am looking forward to playing a role in developing new and diverse audiences to support our long-term growth.”

The Trains at NorthPark Oh, no! Godzilla got into the Northpark train exhibit! But don't worry, the engineers will have it back up and running in time for your mall visit. And now, BEFORE the big holiday rush, is the best time to see them, before hundreds of drooling children take over the enclosure after Thanksgiving. More info
