Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes donates Richardson home
The recipient is a disabled Army Specialist whose current home is small and inaccessible.
RICHARDSON Coalition to Salute America's Heroes (CSAH) will donate a Richardson home and a car to one of the nation's heroes on June 13, 2008, at noon. Severely wounded Army Specialist Razan Saied, an Iraq native, came to the U.S. eight years ago and joined the Army Reserves as a translator. Saied sustained severe injuries when her humvee was involved in a severe accident. Razan is married with three children. The home the family currently lives in is too small and inaccessible to disabled Razan. CSAH, with support from the local community, is helping the Saied family get a fresh start and will surprise them with the renovated home.
