Owners of Bijoux open second restaurant concept, The Second Floor, at Westin Galleria Dallas
DALLAS The newest restaurant at the Westin Galleria Dallas, The Second Floor will celebrate its grand opening on June 12. Developed in partnership with Chef Scott and Gina Gottlich, founders of Bijoux Restaurant, the innovative bistro and bar concept has received tremendously positive responses from guests who have experienced the exceptional food, impeccable service and dynamic atmosphere offered at The Second Floor during the past several weeks.
The Second Floor is located on the 2nd floor (har har!) of the Westin Galleria Dallas, and marks the latest enhancement the hotel is celebrating this year. To honor its 25th anniversary, the hotel is currently enhancing its amenities and undergoing a $60 million complete refresh of the property to incorporate a more contemporary and sophisticated design.
The restaurant's a la carte menu features a distinctive and creative spin on contemporary cuisine, with signature dishes such as short ribs and eggs and Kennebec potato gnocchi, as well as original cocktails and unique liquors-perfect for an after-work escape, shopping-trip interlude or weekend-getaway indulgence. Guests at the hotel also can order room service from the restaurant.
Other main dishes featured at the bistro include The Second Floor blue burger garnished with grilled onions, blue cheese and pancetta; Scottish salmon with oyster mushrooms, couscous and caponata; and duck confit pizza with shallots, tomatoes and goat cheese.
