Yo-Yo the clown after reading Dostoevsky's "Notes from Underground."

— Though all clowns hate reading, Slappy and Monday of the Ringling Bros. will be juggling and pie-throwing their way to the Burleson Public Library on Wednesday, June 11, at 11:30 am.

The clowns were in Burleson this week to help kick off “Reading with Ringling Bros.!” The summer reading program encourages kids aged two to twelve to read by essentially bribing them with a free circus ticket. But, really, who has time for the circus when there are so many books to read?

For more information about the program, visit www.ReadingwithRingling.com.
