Your college dreams have finally come true. Thursday night, June 12, there will be a Foosball tournament attended by not only professional athletes and models, but featuring drink specials as well. No, you've not died and gone to heaven. You're still stuck in our fine, mortal locale (with weather that feels more like hell than anything else).

FC Dallas and the FC Dallas Foundation (the charity and outreach arm of the organization) are teaming up with Sherlock's Pub and Grill off Central Expressway in Dallas and Envy magazine to present the FC Dallas Foosball Tournament. While more details are expected later on the team's blog, we have the basics for you now.

The tournament is expected to start at 8 p.m. and teams of two will sign up around that time. Most of the FCD players are expected to be there and attendees can pay $10 to partner up with one of the players through the entire tournament. Played on four tables, the tourney will be single elimination (no second chances if you don't bring your "A" game from the get-go).

The FC Dallas Foundation will also host a silent auction. Items for bidding on include an official MLS Adidas match ball signed by 2008 team, a team autographed hat, a Kenny Cooper autographed picture, a suite deck seating for a game, and a Fan Pack (includes ticket to game, autographed ball, FCD polo, and access to the field before a game). Throughout the night event organizers will also be giving away "tickets, gear, and more." All proceeds from the event will benefit the FC Dallas Foundation.

Oh yeah, and there will apparently be Envy Magazine models around, as well as food and drink specials (not walking around, however). You could always order the "Scotch Egg" as a healthy alternative to hitting on one of the models and getting denied.
