Robert Shepard, Jimmy Bennett win last two city council seats in Arlington’s run-off election

The City of Arlington had two run-off elections this year. For Council Member, District 6 Robert Shepard won with 65.18% of the vote, leaving Vera McKissic out of the picture with only 34.82% of the vote.

In the race for the seat for District 7, Jimmy Bennet won with 55.38% of the vote. Michael Glaspie fell behind with 44.62% of Saturday's votes.
