This summer, Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD will be hosting its regular district-wide Algebra Camp, just in time to ruin kids' lives or just summers.

Today's math camps originate from the widely-popular camps in the 1940's. Wait, Oh my God, that was something else.

Today's math camps originate from the widely-popular camps in the 1940's. Wait, Oh my God, that was something else.

The camp, a two-week summer mathematics experience that jump starts students in Algebraic thinking, runs from June 23 to July 3 and will be held at Newman Smith High School, 2335 N. Josey Lane, Carrollton, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

It will offer small group activities and projects that are aligned with state standards and aims to connect Algebraic thinking to a broad range of other mathematics topics.

Algebra Camp is open to any C-FB ISD student enrolled in Algebra I for the Fall of 2008. Registration forms are available here.
