It's that time again. The Hurst Police Department has released its weekly Crime Updates for both businesses and residences within the city. The following crimes were reported between Sunday June 8 and Saturday June 14:

Yes, something like this.

On Wednesday, two separate outside air-conditioners were stolen. The first occurred prior to 10 a.m. at a church located at 700 Treadwell Drive. The second was a less ungodly theft, taken from a home under construction at 1200 Greenwood Drive.

Two suspects entered a restaurant on 1100 W Pipeline Road on Thursday at 1:54 a.m, brandishing a sawed-off shotgun and demanding money. (Suspect #1: Black Male, 20-25 yoa, curly black hair, bandanna around face, blue and white striped polo shirt, gray shorts, black shoes. Suspect #2: Black Male, 20-25 yoa, black and white ball cap, white tank top, light blue shorts, tennis shoes). They did not tip.

An apartment within the 100 block of Plaza Blvd was broken into on Thursday between 12 p.m. and 12:47 p.m. The thief forced the door open and stole the victim's T.V. and diabetic medication.

And sometime before Wednesday at 5:10 p.m. a 1994 Pontiac Grand Am parked near 1800 Sotogrande Blvd was marked up with a black permanent marker. Probably kind words were not written.
