Could Staubach be getting ready for a long-awaited return to the huddle?

— According to this story in the Sacramento Business Journal, it appears that Dallas-based commercial real estate company Staubach Co. has finally been sold to Chicago-based firm Jones Lang LaSalle. The price of the transaction may reach $727 million when all is said and done.

Jones Lang LaSalle will pay $613 million for Staubach, with an additional $114 million in possible performance payments over the next five years.

Roger Staubach, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and local legend who founded the company over 30 years ago, has been offered a position on the Jones Lang LaSalle board.
