WHITE ROCK HILLS Imagine a community where rainbows surround the neighborhood, children are constantly smiling and the picturesque scene of flowers in bloom and birds at play hover over the city. Too many communities can only hope for such a peaceful image.
But New Hope Lutheran Church (under the guidance of creative partner, BigThought), took that image and created it as a mural of hope for all to see.
Community residents and leaders gathered Sunday, June 1 to see the unveiling of a gift to the community by those smiling faces; now displayed on the side of the Little Scholars Learning Center (2834 N Buckner, Dallas, TX 75228). So, when you're driving down Peavy to Buckner, take a glance to your right and know that this community is brimming with talent; that there is hope for the future and a reason to admire the creative expression of a child.

Didn't Arlington try that out? I recall it backfiring.
