Theater Spotlight of the Week: John Garcia
Interview with John Garcia, Founder of The Column and star of Damn Yankees
John Garcia is the Editor and Founder of the awesome PegasusNews content partner, The Column. Not only does he write and know everything about the theatre world, but he is also a prominent actor and is now starring in Damn Yankees opening this weekend with Garland Summer Musicals. Perfect week to feature him!
We start by talking about how he ended up in Dallas and decided this is where he wanted to perform. I ask how he started The Column and how it grew over the years. I also inquired what contributes to its huge success and how it has helped connect everyone in the DFW theatre community.

He talks about the fantastic cast and what he wants the audience to walk away with after seeing the show.
I end by asking what has been his favorite role as an actor and what he is still dreaming of playing.
