SMU and University Park may allow 3 person panel to decide Potomac Park’s value
UNIVERSITY PARK In May 2007, voters seemed eager to unload Potomac Park in order to build the Bush Library on the site. Then SMU was quoted a far higher selling price than the appraised value pre-election. Now UP and SMU are considering naming one person each to a panel, with a third tie-breaking panelist selected by the two appointees -- and those would decide the fair value of the property, according to the DMN.
