Barnett Shale offers college students/graduates excellent opportunities in high-demand oil and gas jobs
According to a story in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Oklahoma City-based Devon Energy, the biggest producer in the Barnett Shale, is willing to offer internships beginning a student’s freshman year for oil and gas jobs.
Companies are offering paid tuition and summer jobs, as well, of course, good-paying permanent positions.
By 2010 there will be a 38 percent shortage of engineers and geoscientists and a 28 percent shortage of instrumentation and field workers, so students take notice!
