Thieves in Hurst steal 100 gallons of water
It's that time again. The Hurst Police Department has released its weekly Crime Updates for both businesses and residences within the city. The following crimes were reported between Sunday June 15 and Saturday June 21:
The hydrant heist
At around 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, two suspects hooked up a hose to fire hydrant (located at 1500 Norwood Drive) and filled up an approximately 100-gallon water tank in back of their pickup (suspects: 2 Hispanic Males, flannel shirts, blue jeans. Suspect Vehicle: Blue Chevrolet pickup). The thieves are determined to save Willy at any cost.
Doggie-door bandits
Meanwhile, two separate but way-too-similar burglaries occurred at 2000 Northglen Drive and then 400 Arcadia Street. In the first, an apparently tiny thief entered the home through the doggie door sometime between Sunday at 5:30 p.m. and Monday at 4:30 p.m., stealing jewelry, TVs, etc. The next day, sometime between 10:30 on Monday and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, the gnarly gnome or thinning thief struck again, this time taking appliances and cleaning supplies.

And Latina Lista impresses me about as often as she pisses me off, which is still better odds than most of my good friends. ;o)
And Yeah - Fred's a find.

Do not underestimate the powers of a crack head. He can leap tall buildings in a single bound or crawl through doggie doors to steal Pine Sol.

I haven't done the underpants gnomes list in awhile, sorry Jason - had to get it in. But if you look at the list linked under Profit!, it's simply a code you put in while holding the Alt key.
For the tilde n (ñ), hold down Alt and type 0241.
I've used that page for things like the cents sign (¢) or trademark - for instance, if I wanted to get under the skin of Mr. Orren's college buddy, I'd always reference him as Miko™.
