Keep Coppell Beautiful youth advisor receives leadership award

The State of Texas has conferred its Keep Texas Beautiful Individual Leadership Award (KTBILA) on James Halpin, who attends Coppell Middle School West.
James has the official title of Keep Coppell Beautiful Youth Adviser, and has been working to get his fellow students in the habit of recycling. He's also been garnering the support of school administration and teachers in an effort to construct a successful recycling model, then taking that model to other schools to get them on board.
A rundown of Halpin's accomplishments can be found on the Keep Coppell Beautiful webpage, accessible from the City of Coppell's website.
Here's a big SAAAA-LUTE! to young master Halpin.
