Cash machine in Nordstrom’s lobby ripped off as Northpark Mall sees continuing increase in crime levels

According to Dallas police, the number of property and violent crimes reported at Northpark Mall is on the increase.

Overnight Tuesday (June 24), thieves ripped off a cash machine inside the lobby of Nordstrom's department store. This follows the heavily-reported incident in which a woman was shot in the face while waiting in the parking lot to pick up her daughter.

After this latest (dare we describe it as "bold"?) criminal incident, police are stating that their officer presence on site is being increased both inside and out, and that undercover officers are now a part of the mix.
