Woman escapes Fort Worth robbers by driving away

2

When Gabriela Perez was in the process of parking to access the ATM (at Seminary and I-35) on her way home from work in the wee hours of Tuesday a.m. (June 24), she found herself staring into the muzzle of a would-be robber's pistola.

Pulling the old "Look over there - a cop!" routine, Gabriela used the opportunity generated when the two crooks turned around to put her vehicle into drive - and then she DROVE, without a care in the world as to whether anyone's toes might have gotten sandwiched between the rubber and the road.

The cops are still searching for the easily-distracted robbers, and they commended Ms. Perez for her "run away! run away!" tactics.

Very clever. I was thinking "your fly is unzipped" but this one is better for 2 or more robbers. What are the chances of multiple unzipped pants? Not high.

That's some quick thinking followed by the Tele-Tubby solution...."Run Away! Run Away!"
