UPDATED: Dallas ISD board to consider massive overhaul of Spruce High School
DALLAS On the verge of being deemed "academically unacceptable" for the fourth consecutive year, Spruce High School in Dallas may soon be overhauled.
The Dallas ISD School Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. to discuss, among other things, a proposal that would replace Spruce's principal and administration, as well as sending hundreds of 10th and 11th grade students to other DISD schools.
UPDATE: The board voted to relocate all but Spruce seniors who wish to graduate there and incoming 9th graders to Lincoln and Madison high schools.
