ArtLoveMagic’s “Girl Show” to honor Matt Butler
ArtLoveMagic's "Girl Show" will honor Matt Butler, who was recently killed out side his recording studio in Garland. His sound engineer, Stephen Swan, was also killed. Matthew started Zion Gate Recording Studio just a few years after his first recording session in 2000 with Justin. Inspired by Justin's studio, Matthew set out to develop his own recording space to bless others with similar interests and passions. His love for music, musicians and the Kingdom of God will be missed. In an effort to care for Matthew's wife, Jamie, and his two children, ArtLoveMagic has invited her to be a part of its next art show, girlShow on Saturday, June 28th. She will be selling Zion Gate shirts, one with an original design in Matt's honor. The design was created by David Rodriguez.
Buy a cool tshirt, support a family. Win-Win.
Jamie will also be taking pre-orders for an upcoming compilation CD that will focus on the works of Matt and Stephen prior to their deaths. The profits from the sales of these items will be designated towards completing the recording project, helping victims of violent crime and paying down remaining debt on the studio.
