North Dallas branch of Greenz goes kaput

The Greenz located at the intersection of Preston and Forest in North Dallas shut down over a month ago.
This was the third branch of the Dallas-based mini-chain devoted to upscale spendy salads that launched on McKinney in Uptown in 2004.
The phone number of the North Dallas branch still works but it automatically switches callers to the branch in Addison, which opened in 2005.
A spokesman for the chain said that the space was a little too big and rather overwhelming. It also can't be seen as a smart move for the chain to open a branch that's practically next door to the equally salad-obsessed Snappy Salads, which opened in 2006.

Man, how weird. That place was always packed when I went there. However, I usually go to the Uptown branch. Still, I love Greenz, so I'm sad for them. Thanks for the update.
