Journalist and author Seymour Hersh has been on the job as an investigative journalist since he joined up with the Associated Press in 1963. It was while covering the war in Vietnam that he brought to light the massacre and subsequent cover-up of events in the village of My Lai - coverage which later earned him a Pulitzer Prize.

More recently, Hersh dug into goings-on at Abu Ghraib prison as administered by the U.S. military in Iraq.

On Tuesday evening, March 4, he'll visit Texas Christian University to speak on the topic of foreign policy - something he knows a lot about, given his extensive authorship on the subject.

Mr. Hersh will hold forth beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Ed Landreth Auditorium. Faculty, staff and students attend for free (confirmed by TCU ID); all others pay $10 per head.

This event constitutes a portion of the Center for Civic Literacy's spring lectureship series.
