Fort Worth-based American Ironhorse may be forced into bankruptcy
FORT WORTH According to this story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears Fort Worth-based custom motorcycle maker American Ironhorse is teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, due to a number of recent setbacks that began when founder Bill Rucker was removed from his post by investors in 2003.
Since then, the company has endured employee shrinkage, a drop in demand for its signature motorcycles, and a complete stoppage of production in February. Now three Dallas investors are seeking to recoup $120,000 from the company, which may force it to sell off its assets.
