Candidates for city councils, school boards must file by 5 p.m. Monday
Those running will join several different contested mayoral elections already on the ballot.
Anyone wishing to run for a local city council or school board must file by 5 p.m. today, Monday, March 10, in order to be eligible for the May 10 election. Candidates will join several different contested mayoral elections already on the ballot, including those in Irving, Farmers Branch (see previous profiles of candidates Gene Bledsoe and Tim O'Hare), Mesquite, and Frisco.
